      Job Title: Driller Apprentice

      Job Description

      This position involves working in the field to support the drill operator. The main duties include assisting the driller with moving and attaching augers, handling soil sampling, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure the drill rig is operational.

      Responsibilities

      • Assist the driller in moving and attaching augers.
      • Handle and manage soil sampling processes.
      • Perform preventative maintenance on the drill rig to ensure it remains in working order.

      Essential Skills

      • Experience working outdoors in construction or environmental settings.
      • Ability to lift 75+ pounds.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Flexibility to be out of town for up to two weeks at a time, though this is rare.
      • Home on weekends 95% of the time with approximately 50% of travel involving out-of-town stays.

      Work Environment

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
