  Job Description

  Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The employee will be expected to perform the following tasks:
    • Demonstrate an ability to problem solve and implement solutions on routine to moderately complex problems with guidance from management or other senior level ETMs.
    • Works independent with support from his supervisor.
    • Be proficient servicing multiple drill rigs and trailer repairs where needed.
    • Repair and/or replace faulty parts and systems, perform routine maintenance, i.e. oil and filter changes.
    • Drive all forms of drilling equipment to test once repair is done.
    • Inspect and complete routine maintenance of equipment.
    • Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all repairs. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
    • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
    • Design a plan of action for any maintenance tasks or upgrades.
    • Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
    • Monitor the inventory on repair parts, tools, equipment and order new parts as needed.
    • Validate DOT inspections are current and schedule inspections when needed.

  Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-years’ experience.
  • Proficient in geotechnical drilling equipment repairs.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within first 30 days of employment

  Preferred Certification and Skills:

  • Experience in
    • Drill Rig Repair
    • Transmission Repair
    • Drive Systems
    • Hydraulic Systems and Cylinders
    • Drive Motor Repairs
    • Battery and Electrical Repairs
    • Fleet Maintenance
