Job Description
- Req#: 69312
- Receive all incoming shipments.
- Perform audit of incoming shipments per receiving program.
- Ingredients and Packaging supplies -Audit for accurate quantities and acceptable condition
- Inventory all supplies weekly, and order as needed.
- Inventory all finished goods periodically throughout the week, and report to determine production needs.
- Build all ground shipments accurately, and document code dates used.
- Communicate with ground shipping company when orders exceed normal shipping levels.
- Build all freight orders accurately and schedule pick-up with the freight company.
- Clean warehouse as needed.
- Rotate all ingredients and finished products to ensure the oldest is used first.
- Stage the product each day to be used by production.
- Make deliveries as needed
- Help in other departments as needed.
Driver / Delivery Specialist
Valid Driver’s License
- Transport finished goods and raw materials to manufacturing plant and/or distribution centers.
- Inspect vehicle for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance checks.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Report defects, accidents, or violations.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Able to communicate effectively with management team and team members.
- Understanding and compliance with all safety rules.
- Able to understand and follow instructions.
- Hand Jack and/or Pallet Jack Certified.
- Forklift Certified.
- Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50-60 pounds frequently.
- Occasionally may be required to carry up to 70-100 pounds.
