  The Strategic Space System Division is seeking a Driver of Heavy Vehicles 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA.
  Responsibilities:
  • Operates heavy-duty truck (typically with either semi-trailer or heavy-duty trailer) to transport materials, merchandise, or equipment within an industrial area
  • Coordinates the loading or unloading of trucks and trailers
  • Makes minor mechanical adjustments
  • Requires a valid truck operators permit
  • Exclude operators on fixed schedule, long-haul runs, helpers, driver-salespeople, operators receiving commissions, zone rates, incentive pay or hazardous premium rates, transit-mix operators, and operators generally required to perform off-the-road driving
  Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years’ experience
  • Must be able to obtain a secret government clearance
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Currently have a Class A Driver's License
  Salary Range: $51,800.00 - $86,400.00
  The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
