Job Description
- Req#: DPDHGLOBAL32749ENGLOBALEXTERNALEARCU
- To carry out but not limited to the training of drivers both FTE & Agency including, Assessment, Development, Instructional, Supportive in order to remain fully compliant within the DHL Framework laid out in Central Policies. To ensure that an effective, efficient and commercially viable plan is created to ensure that all requirements are made on the date and at the time expected.
- Carry out OPS35 new driver assessments. This includes licence checks, Highway Code test.
- Carry out OPS35A driver development days. This includes license check and Smith System refresher.
- Induction, performing 5 day driver induction for all new starters, assisting with when required performing inductions for other colleagues i.e. transport admin.
- Manual Handling Training including that of media.
- EPT Training.
- Delivering Smith System Initial training to all LGV drivers and company car drivers.
- DHL Training, uploading all necessary training documents to DHL Training web site, performing regular housekeeping duties i.e. removing drivers that have left the business.
- CPC, organising and booking of drivers CPC periodic training, , delivering CPC modules and generating revenue where applicable
- DPRA, responsible for reviewing, creating and amending all DPRA's.
- TACHO infringements, reviewing and retraining drivers with regards drivers hours infringements
- Gatehouse & yard audits, responsible for performing 10% yard/gatehouse exit vehicle and driver checks
- Microlise training and admin, targeting bottom five drivers and performing weekly conversations to action improvement areas.
- Mystery shopper, perform a minimum of 5 per month. Safety conversations.
- Flexibility to work at any location determined by National Training Manager
- Full UK/international driving license
