      The Drug Intelligence Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for the research of new and existing medications and the evaluation of medical literature. The Drug Intelligence Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for the provision of drug intelligence services including but not limited to Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) committee support and clinical (internal and external) communications related to P&T matters. The chosen candidate must be able to successfully work in a team environment as well as independently. The chosen candidate must be willing to support tasks and projects outside of standard duties.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Develop and maintain new drug monographs and therapeutic class reviews
      • Participate via phone or in person in P&T committee meetings and facilitate client and internal P&T committee processes
      • Oversee projects from inception to completion
      • Continuously look for ways to streamline and improve the quality of drug information processes
      • Provide responses to drug information requests
      • Be aware of current and emerging trends in clinical information, treatment guidelines and formulary review strategies
      • Assist in training and mentoring of pharmacy residents, students, and interns
      • Other activities as determined by the VP of Drug Intelligence

      Required Qualifications:

      • Pharm D degree
      • Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license (any state)
      • 2+ years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist in a clinical setting (not retail pharmacy)
      • Experience assessing and critically appraising clinical trials, evaluating comparative effectiveness evidence
      • Experience working on or with a Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committee
      • Experience writing and presenting monographs and class reviews
      • Computer proficiency at the intermediate level and experience with MS Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
      • Willing or the ability to travel up to 10%

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Residency program
      • Additional certifications in any areas of specialty (e.g., pharmacotherapy, ambulatory care, oncology, HIV, pain management, psychiatry, multiple sclerosis)
      • Experience working within a PBM or Managed Care

      California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $85,000 to $167,300.
