- Perform all job duties in accordance with MSHA regulations and Company safety policies. Safety First!
- Demonstrate the ability to operate, or learn to operate front end loader.
- Conduct preventative maintenance activities as directed.
- Maintain accurate production logs.
- Conduct maintenance work on shredder as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping in assigned area and as directed.
- Ability to work from elevated workplaces.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Properly document work activities for work orders, fault reports, etc.
- Shift hours subject to change based on production requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED required
- 2-3 years of experience preferred.
- Previous experience within grinding, classifying and conveying systems a plus
- Demonstrated experience in contributing within a team of professionals to deliver against set targets.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety with previous experience in identifying and managing risks.

Covia is looking for a dynamic Dry Plant Operator who will have a positive impact on the operations team at its Troup, TX location.
