  Position: Azure Virtual Desktop Architect
  Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop Architect to join our team. As an Azure Virtual Desktop Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure Virtual Desktop solutions for large enterprise. You will work closely with internal teams to understand their business requirements and develop scalable and efficient solutions using Azure Virtual Desktop services.
  Job Description: As an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and configuring Microsoft WVD (Windows Virtual Desktop) technologies, including host pools, WVD images, and scaling. You will manage Azure Active Directory for Azure WVD-related systems and support Azure WVD Clusters HA systems. Additionally, you will analyze system performance indicators, recommend improvement actions for Azure WVD-based production configurations, and troubleshoot approved packages when needed. You will also manage and deploy updates via Azure Update Manager and assist in the organization and management of business applications installed on Azure WVD.
  Furthermore, you will provide technical assistance for all servers, desktops, and services related to the deployed configuration, taking full control and accountability for applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of Azure WVD.
  Responsibilities:
  Design and Architecture:
  · Design and architect Azure Virtual Desktop solutions based on client requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  · Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  · Develop technical specifications, solution architectures, and deployment plans for Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
  Implementation and Configuration:
  · Install and configure Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure, including host pools, session hosts, and virtual desktops.
  · Deploy and manage Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and Azure AD Domain Services for Azure Virtual Desktop.
  · Create and maintain golden images for virtual desktops, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  · Configure user profiles, application delivery, and access policies within Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
  Integration and Optimization:
  · Integrate Azure Virtual Desktop with other Azure services, such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Backup.
  · Optimize Azure Virtual Desktop environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  · Conduct performance monitoring and tuning to identify and address bottlenecks or issues in the infrastructure.
  · Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies for Azure Virtual Desktop deployments.
  Security and Compliance:
  · Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards in Azure Virtual Desktop deployments.
  · Implement access controls, data encryption, and threat protection mechanisms within Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
  · Collaborate with security teams to conduct security assessments and implement necessary remediation measures.
  Documentation and Training:
  · Create detailed technical documentation, including design documents, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
  · Provide training and guidance to internal teams and clients on Azure Virtual Desktop architecture, administration, and best practices.
  · Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure Virtual Desktop and related technologies and share knowledge with the team.
  Requirements:
  Proven experience:
  · Minimum 6 years of experience in designing and implementing Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.
  · Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, including host pools, session hosts, and virtual desktop configurations.
  · Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and technologies related to virtual desktop infrastructure.
  Azure Certifications:
  · Azure certifications such as AZ-140: Configuring and Operating Windows Virtual Desktop on Microsoft Azure are highly desirable.
  Technical Skills:
  · Deep knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and Azure AD Domain Services.
  · Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
  · Familiarity with networking concepts, including Azure Virtual Networks, VPN, and ExpressRoute.
  · Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in Azure Virtual Desktop deployments.
  Communication and Collaboration:
  · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
  · Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation and training materials.
  Problem-solving and troubleshooting:
  · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve technical issues in Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
  · Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement appropriate solutions.
  Certification and Education:
  · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
