Responsibilities

• Sufficient knowledge Chassis aggregates and components (suspension / brakes / frames / axles / steering system )
• Trucks Suspension components design and release activities
• Design of parts such as suspension brackets, cross members, springs, dampers, bump stoppers, bearing, wheel end, IFS components etc
• Good knowledge of Siemens NX and also good exposure to mechanism and tyre envelope generation methods
• Knowledge of strength of materials
• Sufficient knowledge of GD and T.
• Should ensure design process/ design guidelines
• Should participate in DFMEA and other programs to improve the design
• Should generate various weight and cost reduction ideas and implement them
• Should interact with various agencies like CAE team, DMU team, suppliers, plant and assembly line to understand the issues

Additional Advantage

• Exposure to design calculations involved for part design & system design

· Experience with complete Automotive project

Education

• Minimum Qualification: BE (Mechanical),
• Minimum Experience: 4 to 6 years
