Telluride Middle/ High School (7-12) '); 'Telluride School District R-1 seeks Dual Immersion/EDL High School Teacher to work in Telluride, CO.
Under supervision of Principal, teach high school students in dual language immersion environment; Provide instruction in both Spanish and English as part of Foreign Language and English Language Development programs, plan lessons and materials, facilitate learning in classroom, evaluate performance, maintain records and document student progress; Develop dual immersion instructional programs. Requires bachelor’s in Education, Spanish Teaching, or related field; two years in job offered or similar dual language or second language (Spanish) teaching position and demonstrated ability to teach in both Spanish and English; Colorado Teaching Certificate or eligibility for Colorado Teaching Certificate. Will accept foreign degree deemed equivalent to a US bachelor’s degree by a professional evaluator. Health insurance and benefits. Annual salary determined by CBA.
