- Install conveyor systems according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Execute welding tasks using FCAW-G on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Fabricating, grinding, and cutting metal at certain stations when needed.
- Being comfortable with both welding at station, and welding in field to perform structural welds on frame work and conveyor systems.
- Potential for rigging and being familiar with rigging is a plus.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40 ft.
- FCAW-G Welding on various types of metals.
- Millwright experience installing industrial equipment.
- Fabricating, grinding, and cutting.
- 5+ years of new construction experience in an industrial/commercial setting.
- OSHA 10 Certification
- PHYSCIAL COPY OR PICTURE OF FCAW-G (Dual Shield) CERT.
- Must have Dual Shield Welded within last 12 months.
- Must have a copy of certification from last 5 years.
- Any copies of lift certifications (boom lift, aerial lift, scissor lift).
Dual Shield Welder
Pay: $32+
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Job Type: Full-time with Overtime.
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Certified Dual Shield Welder with at least 5 years of experience for an expansion project at a UPS facility. This role involves installing conveyor systems in a new construction environment. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, laying out materials, and utilizing power tools to install and assemble conveyors. You will execute welding tasks using FCAW-G (Dual Shield) on various materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. This project is expected to last the next 24 months.
Candidates will be working 5-7 days a week, earning up to 50-70 hours a week.
Per Diem will be offered if you are not local.

We are actively interviewing candidates to start as soon as Monday for this position. Candidates will be picked to schedule a time to conduct virtual interviews once they have applied. Candidates must be able to provide 2 references before moving forward with a weld test and a job offer to get started.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
