Develop and apply risk-based assessment criteria to Hitachi companies across the globe
Use on-line screening tools, on-line research, and interviews if required to evaluate third party for red flags
Interact with third parties and Hitachi Business Requestor to acquire and confirm information needed to make analysis
Analyze, unravel, and map complicated or hidden third party ownership structures
Demonstrate deductive reasoning needed to uncover concealed third-party red flags
Draft concise reports, outlining findings and recommendations for addressing red flags presented
Present findings and recommendations to Hitachi requester
Provide trend analysis to facilitate strategic decisions
Interpret analytics needed to make continuous improvements to due diligence and risk assessment processes
Work with select Hitachi companies to develop third party risk profiles and due diligence strategies
Train the business about third party red flags and due diligence processes when needed
Support the expansion of the team including interviewing and selection process
Supervise and train new analysts joining the team as the demand for 3rd party DD report grows
Support the strategic development of the DD platform to meet Hitachi requirements
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience performing complex corporate compliance due diligence, prior team leadership is a plus
Demonstrated experience, presenting due diligence findings to management
Detailed knowledge of corporate compliance regulations and reputational risks (e.g., anti-bribery, competition, anti-money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes, as well as conflicts of interest analysis, etc.)
Proficiency in Office365 products and third-party management software
Excellent report writing skills (e.g., concise, well-reasoned, and clear recommendations)
Strong team player
Business fluency in English and any 2nd language is required
