Social Media Content Creation: Develop engaging posts, videos, and stories for Duke Stores’ social media platforms to promote products, sales, and special events.

Visual Merchandising: Assist in designing and maintaining visually appealing in-store displays to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.

Photography & Graphic Design: Capture high-quality product photos and create digital graphics for social media, email marketing, and store promotions.

Marketing Support: Help with promotional campaigns, giveaways, and outreach efforts to connect with the student body.

Website Content Management: Update product listings, banners, and promotions on the bookstore’s website.

Strong writing skills for social media captions and marketing copy

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools for creating graphics

Strong knowledge of social media trends and engagement strategies

Experience with CapCut or similar apps for editing social media shorts

Interest in retail, branding, and visual merchandising

High school diploma

Current enrollment in a post-secondary educational program
Job Summary
Intern position to support a dynamic retail organization in its marketing and merchandising efforts. Tasks in this role will focus on enhancing Duke Stores’ digital and in-store presence by creating engaging social media content, assisting with virtual merchandising, and promoting products that resonate with the campus community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, creativity, and an interest in retail marketing. Preference will be given to candidates who are well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Successful candidates will have an existing social media presence.
