Job Description

- Student must be currently enrolled as a student at Durango High School or Big Picture High School
- Student must be at least 15 years of age
- sweeping with a broom and dust pan set up
- sweeping using vacuums, including vacuum backpacks
- removing trash and recycling from the interior of the building - trash and recycling is collected and removed from receptacles in the building, and is moved to exterior dumpsters
- cleaning white boards and chalk boards
- cleaning the tops of surfaces such as tables and desks
- working outside to include, shoveling snow, minor grounds maintenance, picking up trash (will only occur during daylight hours)
This position is 3 to 5 hours per day. Shifts available are: start time 4:00 - 7:00 PM or 9:00 pm during the school year. Summer work may be available for this position. Must be at least 15 years old and currently enrolled as a student in Durango School District.
