Job Description

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure the hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, are in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Support the implementation of the preventive maintenance schedule.
- Monitor energy usage and assist in energy conservation initiatives.
- Respond to emergencies such as power failures, equipment breakdowns, and safety hazards.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and servicing.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and policies.
- Assist in supervising maintenance staff or technicians, if required during shifts.
- Participate in shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency situations.
