Position Summary:
To assist in maintaining an orderly and safe atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground, and in other designated locations by helping and supervising students in accordance with Board policy and established district procedures.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist students in non-instructional areas, such as supervising during bus duty, playground duty, car duty, hallways, and other related non-instructional areas
- Assist in supervising students in the cafeteria during mealtime
- Circulate among assigned tables during the mealtime to be available as needed
- Assist in supervising the playground/classroom during the lunch hour
- Assist with supervising students during after school dismissal to cars and school buses
- Adhere to all policies of the district
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the building administrator

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work
- Ability to communicate both in oral and written form with students, parents, and staff

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of all background checks
Contract: 178 day contract
Salary: Classified Paraprofessional Salary Schedule - Level I
