- Facilitates a multi-faceted calendar that encourages individuality, participation, and leadership. Encourages residents to take the lead on various activities and allow them to share their talents and take ownership of the calendar.
- Identifies specific interests for each resident on campus and partners with coworkers, residents, family members and community volunteers to integrate those interests into Country Meadows Dynamic Living.
- Works in conjunction with the Dynamic Living Director to encourage the formation of various resident led clubs/committees to support the idea of resident-based programming.
- Works in conjunction with the Independent Living resident Education Committee to offer quality lifelong learning classes. This could include but is not limited to: Hands on classes such as painting, sculpting, photography, flower arranging, ceramics etc. Plus, series classes that build upon each other from session to session, history, wine tasting, religion, travel, languages, computer etc.
- Promote Purposeful Service projects for residents to participate in. By offering purposeful service we are enabling residents to have opportunities to feel as if they are contributing.
- Promote Intergenerational programming to encourage learning reciprocity between older and younger generations.
- Encourages the use of technology and offers ongoing education on how to use the computer.
- Participates in collaborative programming with all departments on campus to support a strong team philosophy. Works as a facilitator for various resident clubs/committees to support resident independence.
- Works in conjunction with campus pet coordinator to encourage pet ownership and pet clubs.
- Ensures that daily activities are occurring according to the posted calendars.
- Transports residents to various functions using company vehicles
- Coordinates times for vehicles’ usage with other drivers on campus.
- Responsible for acting as a new resident Ambassador as assigned by the Dynamic Living Director.
- High School diploma or GED. Associates degree or higher preferred.
- Prior experience in group socialization or recreational programs preferred but not required.
- Leadership style that is energetic, personable, positive, enthusiastic, creative and imaginative.
- Ability to communicate intentions and directions to residents and co-workers. Be an active listener/empathetic.
- Strong motivational skills to positively influence resident participation.
- Valid driver’s license with no major violations in the past five years.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
Pay starts at $18.00/hour, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience!

Shift Information:
8:30am to 4:30pm, includes every other weekend rotation and every other holiday rotation.
