Job summary
Part time 24 hours per week - Fixed Term Contract - 28/02/2026
We are looking to appoint a passionate and motivated individual that will work closely with our eRoster advisors, eRoster Team Manager and other trust colleagues to ensure the trust has a safe and effective eRostering system.
eRostering is a software programme, that allows trust colleagues to be allocated onto shifts and/or into activity considering patient need, workforce skill and availability. This is a varied role and will give you the opportunity to work across multi-disciplinary teams and allow you to grow specialist knowledge of eRostering.
We will work with you to develop an understanding of how rotas are built, created and maintained. The successful candidate will join a small, supportive and lively eRoster team, who have a flexible approach to work in the demanding and fast paced world of eRoster and have won many accolades and praise on their eRoster knowledge.
Working in the eRoster team is very fast paced and busy, so you need to be calm, friendly, work in a logical way and be able to work on multiple tasks each day.
This role ideally suits someone who is passionate about customer service, is system minded and has high attention to detail.

Main duties of the job
This role will be the first point of contact for eRoster end users, supporting colleagues with their queries. You will support and signpost colleagues to relevant support material and guide them to resolutions, escalating where appropriate.
You will need to display exceptional customer services skills and have a passion for investigating root cause of queries. The role assists the eRoster team in maintaining the system administration which includes, but not limited to, ensuring all new employees, contractual changes and leavers are administered in the eRoster system. You will help administer expense system which includes but not limited to ensuring all new employees and leavers are appropriately set up and maintained with expenses system.
Complete DVLA checks for tax and MOT and complete driving license checks. The eRostering Administrator will also help produce key reports using eRostering data and help action any reports that require completion, and use/understanding of Microsoft Excel is required for this role. The role assists the eRoster team in the planning and reviewing of the eRoster teams work schedule and collaborating in weekly work schedule reviews and offering suggestions for improvements.
The role supports with the planning and creation of eRoster training materials for use by the trust.
The role will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams within the organisation and work closely with external suppliers and escalate problems as required.
