Execute Domain/Server/Client Administration and troubleshooting on OS/Server-Client/Client-Server, log interpretation.
Using Windows OS/s: Server 2012r2/2016/2019/2022, Windows 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6-9; Administration: Domain/Active Directory/Group Policy/DNS/Certificate/Exchange/Portal/Client; hypervisor and virtual machines: VMware ESXi/vSphere/vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V; PowerShell and CMD line/prompt; Department of the Army (DA)/NETCOM Risk Management Framework and DISA STIG.
Supporting the following systems: MCIS/ABCS (TSI/BCCS, AFATADS, AMDWS, CPCE, JBC-P, TAIS, etc); Simulation/Stimulation (JCATS, JDLM, MUSE, JLCCTC/WARSIM, LVC-IA, VBS3, etc.); and services (Chat, Exchange, SharePoint).
Execute enterprise information technology (IT) architecture; IT security principles and methods, server/client OS; system/server diagnostic tools and fault identification techniques, and LAN/WAN principles and concepts; network access, identity, and access management.
Correcting physical/technical issues that impact system/server performance; OS administration, system recovery; configure and implement software-based system protection tools, and maintain directory services; conducting system planning, management, and maintenance.
Implement technology integration into/across the environment and apply cybersecurity strategy to computing service and development models, identifying appropriate architecture for operational environments.
Ensure security patches are applied IAW directed timelines for the operational environment; interpret IAVAs to ensure functionality of the environment, provide ongoing optimization and problem-solving support across the environment, and diagnose group policies and access controls to ensure compatibility with organizational standards, business rules, and needs.
Education/Experience: 2+ Years, with related BS/BA or higher, preferred areas of study: Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software/Computer Engineering, or Mathematics or Engineering; equivalent combination of education/experience/certification considered also.

Experience with Windows OS/s: Server 2012r2/2016/2019/2022, Windows 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6-9; Administration: Domain/Active Directory/Group Policy/DNS/Certificate/Exchange/Portal/Client; hypervisor and virtual machines: VMware ESXi/vSphere/vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V; PowerShell and CMD line/prompt; Department of the Army (DA)/NETCOM Risk Management Framework and DISA STIG familiarity a plus.

Certifications:
Required: IAT-II/IAM-I baseline certification IAW current DoDM 8140.03: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA-Security (current approved IAT-II certifications)
Ability to obtain IAT-III certification within 180 days of start: IAW DoDD/I/M 8140.01/.02/.03.
Position complies with all DoD, DA, and company training requirements IAW Government policy, DoD 8140 IA Workforce Improvement Program, Army Regulations, and company and site policies.
Security Clearance: Current SECRET required
Location: Fort Stewart, GA MTC. Normal work schedule is 0730-1600, may require night, swing, or weekend work shifts depending on specific training event requirements.
Travel: May require occasional travel (less than 10%).

End-To-End (E2E) Systems Engineer
XVIII ABC Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training: Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training: Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training: Divisions and Corps in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Unified Land Operations (ULO).
