  EY-Consulting – Data Modeler with PL/SQL – Senior Technical Consultant

  The opportunity

  We’re looking for Data Modeler with PL/SQL Technical Consultant to join our Consulting Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

  Your key responsibilities

  • Support client in designing business data to logically model it, understanding of data modelling well enough to physically model it and then understand the processing and performance issue to design the ETL processes using advanced PL/SQL
  • Proactive with Solution oriented mindset, ready to learn new technologies for Client requirements
  • Working knowledge of a source code control system
  • Interact with senior leaders, understand their business goals, contribute to the delivery of the workstreams

  Skills and attributes for success

  • ER Studio Data Modeling resource (Oracle, PL/SQL , dimensional data Modeling, data warehouse and BI concept).
  • Need to understand business data well enough to logically model it, know the technology well enough to physically model it and then know the processing and performance issue to design the ETL processes.
  • Must have worked on Data Modelling Techniques and Methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of oracle database architecture.
  • Collaborate with data engineer and dba as part of database design and development (Requires understanding of technology as well)
  • Engages solution architects to develop ETL/Data integrations/Data processing flows/Supports ETL team in development efforts if needed.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data model for enterprise class data initiatives.
  • Must have worked on Erwin, Power designer tool
  • Schema modelling
  • PL/SQL experience
  • Support minor database changes if needed

  To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Good understanding of Data Modelling and advanced PL/SQL
  • ER Studio Data Modeling resource (Oracle, PL/SQL , dimensional data Modeling, data warehouse and BI concept).
  • Should have positive and learning attitude, Good Communication, Strong Analytical skills
