      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

      - Provide assessments and counseling services via telephone using a solution-focused brief therapy model
      - Conduct crisis interventions and urgent consultations as needed
      - Offer clear and concise information about EAP and Gambling Services
      - Refer clients to appropriate internal and external resources
      - Maintain case files, complete detailed case notes, and attend training sessions

      What is Required (Qualifications):

      - Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling/Education, or a related field
      - Fully clinically licensed and able to practice without supervision
      - Previous experience in Assessment, Crisis Intervention, and Short-term Counseling
      - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
      - Familiarity with community resources

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

      - Training/experience in brief solution-focused counseling and substance abuse treatment
      - EAP and prior telephone counseling experience
      - Customer service experience
      - Strong computer literacy
      - Knowledge of ethical principles governing confidentiality/privacy legislation
