What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direct EAP services to employees and families via phone for financial, legal, and caregiving needs
- Assess needs, offer resources, maintain case records, and ensure continuity of care
- Conduct initial intake, transfer calls to licensed counselors, and provide support during wait times
- Understand and promote EAP plans and resources, building relationships with vendors and partners
- Contribute to the EAP website and assist with training materials, staying updated on community services and industry changes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Respect for confidential information and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online databases
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to a changing environment
- Resourcefulness and strong listening skills to assess and meet customer needs
- Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral health and/or Education or related field
- 1-2 years EAP experience with previous customer service background
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
