  Des Moines Public Schools is seeking an Early ACCESS Family Liaison Interpreter.
  
  Job Summary:
  
  Assist Early ACCESS and Early Childhood Staff and families with communication of early access and special education paperwork, scheduling, instruction, supervision, and care of students with disabilities. Abide by guidelines established for Family Liaison Interpreter for the District. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the student and family services department.
  
  Successful candidates for this position will possess:
  • High School Diploma, HiSET or GED.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish), both oral and written.
  
  Highly Qualified candidates for this position will possess:
  • Associate’s degree

  Salary Range for this position:
  $13.71 to $15.75
  
  This represents the minimum to mid-point of the salary range. Candidates offered employment will be compensated based on skills, work experience and education.
