The Early Career Program is for those who enjoy finding innovative solutions to challenges, who see the value of data and use it on their way to success, and who drive operational excellence. The goal of our program is to develop your talents and interests, so that you can have an exciting and fulfilling career at AIG.

      In addition to the training on-the-job, you will participate in the AIG Academy, an 18th month structured development program designed to support and accelerate your strengths and interests. To help you succeed, we make sure you receive above-average remuneration, regardless of your degree. You will be accompanied by a mentor, and you will have the chance to participate in global workshops, master classes, as well as networking events to get to know colleagues from AIG worldwide. You will receive a permanent employment contract.

      What you can expect

      • Underwrite new business and manage a portfolio (Directors' Liability, Social Reporting, Fraud, Supplementary Pension Fund and Kidnapping – Extortion) in accordance with the underwriting policy, the authorities entrusted, the strategy, processes and tools of the AIG Group; in compliance with the response times agreed with customers
      • Monitor the existing portfolio against market trends and propose corrective actions to improve portfolio growth and profitability;
      • Work in good coordination with all technical, sales, administrative, marketing and claims teams;
      • Build and maintain good business relationships with broker partners.
      • Participate, design, lead meetings and technical training with our broker partners and / or customers;
      • Participate in new product development initiatives

      We are looking for a young professional who is eager to learn and passionate about working in a dynamic international environment with the world’s leading companies.

      You are a team player with an open and positive mindset.

      You have an interest in data science, customer relations and innovation.

      Our ideal candidate also has excelled in previous work/internship experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possesses strong analytical skills and is a team player.

      You are pursuant of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree – and preferably within the domain of Business Administration, Economics, Sales Management, Sales Administration, Natural Sciences or a comparable course of study (international degree is an advantage).

      Fluency in English and Dutch plus a good basis of French is important, as the Early Career Program is an international initiative and cross-border co-operation is a necessity.
