      Early Career Program Manager - GBS

      What does a Early Career Program Manager do? The Early Career Program Manager will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing programs focused on the development and integration of early career professionals within our organization. This role involves collaboration with various leaders and teams across Fiserv to create a supportive and enriching environment for emerging talent from our newly established apprentice program and our college analyst program.

      This role reports to a VP, Human Resources within GBS and can be based in Alpharetta, GA or Sunnyvale, CA.

      What does a successful Early Career Program Manager do?


      A great Early Career Program Manager excels in several key areas to effectively develop, implement, and manage programs for early career talent. They develop a comprehensive strategy to meet Fiserv’s talent needs and actively drives toward successful outcomes. They are structured in their approach to ensure the programs are most effective from securing talent, onboarding and developing the early career talents to creating lifelong ambassadors of the company. They are interpersonally savvy, collaborate and communicate well and have a deep passion for helping associates develop and grow. Ultimately, a great Early Career Program Manager creates an environment that fosters growth, learning, and professional development for early career professionals that support Fiserv’s growth.

      What you will do:

      • Developing and executing comprehensive early career development programs aimed at attracting, nurturing, and retaining top talent.
      • Collaborate with HR, talent acquisition, and departmental heads to identify skill gaps and design training initiatives that align with organizational goals.
      • Coordinate recruitment efforts for internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level positions, including marketing these opportunities through various channels.
      • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to early career professionals and apprentices, ensuring their successful integration into the workplace.
      • Plan and execute orientation sessions, workshops, and networking events to facilitate learning and professional growth among participants.
      • Evaluate program effectiveness through metrics, surveys, and feedback to make data-driven improvements and build recruitment strategies & solutions to drive talent attraction.
      • Act as a liaison between program participants and stakeholders across the organization to ensure a positive experience for all involved parties.
      • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in early career development to continuously enhance program offerings.
      • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with universities and community colleges presenting Fiserv as an “employer of choice”.
      • Nurture relationships with national partnerships with groups such as Society of Women Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, National Association of Black Engineers and other affinity and early career groups to increase diverse pools of talent.
      • Attend various events such as: career fairs, employer panels, resume reviews, and mock interviews.
      • Leverage social media to engage with university talent and elevate the Fiserv brand.

      What you will need to have:

      • 6-10 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience
      • Minimum of three years managing and/or recruiting for early career talent
      • Minimum of three years Program Management experience

      What would be good to have:

      • Project management expertise
      • Virtual and in-person event planning experience
      • A passion for early career and diverse talent acquisition
      • Budget management expertise

      Travel Requirements:

      • 5-15% travel across USA to college campuses and recruiting events

      Salary Range

      $110,700.00 - $189,700.00

      These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
