      Conditions and benefits of the Early Careers Programme

      • Full-time onsite employment of 6 months with the World Economic Forum Geneva office.

      • We will accommodate start dates between 1 April to 30 April 2024.

      • Monthly gross compensation of CHF 4’400.- (salary: CHF 4’050- plus health benefits: CHF 350-).

      • All required technological equipment (laptop and mobile phone) and accesses.

      • Immigration and minimal relocation support.

      Role : HEALTHY WORKFORCES

      The Centre for Health and Healthcare works to identify and scale up solutions for more resilient, efficient, and equitable healthcare systems to deliver the best possible care and keep global populations healthy, happy, and thriving. The Centre achieves this by engaging a diverse set of stakeholders from international organizations, academic institutions, pharmaceutical and biomedical companies, healthcare NGOs, hospitals, healthcare providers, consumer industries, investors, innovators, infrastructure, and insurance organizations to positively shape the global health agenda.

      Reason for hiring:

      The Healthy Workforces Initiative aims to promote employee physical and mental health through evidence-based workforce health solutions. This initiative brings together over 50 organizations across sectors who are collaborating to identify and advocate for proven workplace health practices that benefit employee wellbeing and productivity.

      The initiative takes a comprehensive approach addressing nutrition, exercise, mental health, preventative care and work-life balance. Leading research organizations and technology partners provide input to spotlight cutting edge and impactful practices for employers to implement. There is also a focus on evidence-based environmental and policy changes that can enhance access and reduce barriers to critical health services.

      With its breadth of stakeholders, resources and solutions, the initiative aims to create blueprint case studies and drive large scale adoption of optimal workforce health standards across industries.

      The selected candidate will be responsible for:

      • Assisting with planning, coordinating, and executing events, both virtual and physical, related to the Healthy Workforces Initiative.

      • Collaborating with the team to develop and implement strategies for stakeholder communication and relationship management.

      • Supporting internal processes and logistics to ensure the success of the Healthy Workforces Initiative.

      • Assist in conducting desk research and landscape analysis of the ongoing trends in workforce health.

      • Support with writing, editing and proof-reading insight publications

      Preferred qualification and experience:

      • Master’s degree preferably in Public Health or Public Policy

      • Up to 2 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, events planning is a plus.

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications and Salesforce is an advantage.

      Desired skills:

      • Exceptional time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.

      • Collaboration, autonomy, and proactivity in navigating a complex and evolving environment.

      • Excellent writing and communication skills, both written and spoken, in English
