      Early Careers Manager - London/Hethel
      Hybrid

      Job Description:

      • Responsible for attracting, onboarding and managing early talent in the form of Graduates, Apprentices, Interns and work experience students
      • Outreach to get young people from all different backgrounds interested in Lotus and the industry
      • Provision of structured work experience to establish a talent pipeline and deliver social value
      • Advise on strategic direction of Early Careers and provide direction in relation to new government and agency initiatives e.g. T-Levels, Outreach Initiatives
      • Identify and deliver Early Career opportunities in all country markets
      • Enabling Lotus to grow their own talent
      • Ensuring utilisation of Apprenticeship Levy
      • Representing Lotus on industry and educational boards, groups, and initiatives

      Role Responsibilities:

      • Strategy - Review overall approach to Early Careers and Talent, including alignment of approach to graduates, apprenticeships, and early talent, with overall business and workforce needs
      • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with professional bodies, education and training providers; exploring new opportunities to build talent pipelines
      • Manage the apprenticeship levy and digital account, and define the strategic direction of levy activity
      • Work collaboratively with functions to determine appropriate early career / upskill apprenticeships
      • Design and delivery of the graduate programme including onboarding, placements, development plans, and pastoral/welfare support. Managing transition to permanent roles for graduates and relevant functions and people managers
      • Create and maintain the Early Careers framework (policy and guidance) for the organisation
      • Market and produce professional collateral for Early Careers for external and internal audiences
      • Manage Early Careers Team
      • Co-ordinate activities with broader Talent and Development Team and HR

      Essential Criteria:

      • Strong customer service focus
      • Comprehensive experience in managing successful Early Career Programmes
      • Experienced in running assessment centres for Early Careers
      • Knowledge and experience of designing and managing graduate and apprenticeship programmes
      • UK Digital Apprenticeship Service management
      • UK Apprenticeship standards
      • Experience of developing strategic partnerships with education and learning providers
      • Facilitation Skills
      • Good level of IT literacy including Microsoft Suite


      Desireable:

      • Experience of Early Careers outside of UK
      • Ideally experienced working in Automotive / Manufacturing environment, but not essential
      • Knowledge of relevant industry professional bodies (E.g. ImechE, CIPD, CIMA)


      This role will require a travel between sites to build and maintain relationships across Lotus, educational organisations and learning providers as well as to provide support to Early Career participants
