What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling to promote personal growth and resiliency in clients
- Offer training, consultation, and technical assistance to childcare providers and families based on community needs
- Conduct a minimum of 200 on-site visits annually to childcare programs to deliver services
- Establish connections between the childcare field and mental health services to address social/emotional challenges
- Maintain appropriate documentation and participate in clinical staff meetings and quality assurance functions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Infant Mental Health, or a related Human Services field
- Minimum of 1,000 hours of applicable supervised direct service experience through practicum, internship, or employment
- Must meet Qualified Mental Health Professional status in relevant programs
- Proficient in using electronic health records and automated documentation systems
- Strong skills in written and oral communication

- Knowledge of community resources and regulatory guidelines related to mental health
- Familiarity with cultural competency in service delivery
- Skills in problem-solving and networking within the community
- Previous experience in a nonprofit or behavioral health setting
