What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build positive relationships with OCC designated priorities and special projects
- Provide technical assistance to states and territories in early childhood system building
- Collaborate with federal partners and stakeholders in child care sector
- Develop and deliver complex tasks and deliverables
- Regularly participate in team meetings, calls, and national workgroups
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, public policy, public administration, or management
- 12+ years of relevant experience in early childhood system building
- Experience in collaboration and partnership across early care and education systems
- Prior experience in project management and development of technical assistance materials
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications and project management tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in early childhood education, public policy, public administration, or management
- 10+ years of experience at the state or national level in early childhood policies
- State public sector leadership experience in early childhood
- Proficiency in Spanish language
- Experience delivering training/TA through virtual platforms
