- Support the development and implementation of numerical groundwater flow models for a wide range of projects including:
- Large scale open pit and underground mining operations
- Regional and local scale hydrogeological assessments
- Municipal source water protection studies
- Dewatering assessments for infrastructure projects
- Compile field and/or other data for interpretation and analysis
- You'll work with intermediate and senior hydrogeologists to provide technical services related to both mining and infrastructure related projects.
- Provide technical support and complete hydrogeological analysis, visualizations, and aid in the development of conceptual site models.
- Work both independently and in a group setting under the direction of senior specialists in related disciplines.
- Preparing technical documents and reports
- Assist more senior staff with the development and preparation of project proposals.

- A Masters degree (or equivalent education) in Hydrogeology, Environmental/Earth Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or similar program. A specialization in groundwater modelling through coursework or project/thesis is preferred.
- Eligibility to register as either a Geoscientist-In-Training (GIT), Engineer-In-Training (EIT), Certified Technician (C.Tech.) or Certified Engineering Technician (CET) in the Province of Ontario
- Experience with hydrogeological analysis (for example, the use of AQTESOLV or similar)
- Experience in the development and application of numerical modelling tools/approaches in groundwater
- Experience with MODFLOW, FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere, etc.
- Experience using Python, SQL for data analysis
- An unrestricted full Class G Driver’s License (or equivalent) that is valid in the province of Ontario, a clean Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with the MS Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent time management, organization, communication, problem solving, writing, and people skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Will be a team player, with the ability to cooperate and communicate with other staff, subcontractors, and clients)

We're looking for a Junior Hydrogeologist with a specialization in groundwater modelling to join our Ontario Hydrogeology Team, located in one of our GTA (Toronto/Mississauga/Kitchener/Barrie) or Ottawa, ON offices. You will provide numerical modelling support for various hydrogeological, environmental, and engineering investigations related to multi-disciplinary development projects.
