What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and implement the regional records and information management program
- Train staff on records management processes and ensure accurate data entry
- Archive and retrieve records, developing and implementing policies for records management
- Analyze and verify requests received through the agency's Public Record Office
- Assist staff in conducting thorough searches and gathering records for public records requests
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Six (6) years of experience in administrative support, forms, and/or records management
- College-level coursework may be considered as part of the experience requirement
- Proven ability to manage records throughout their lifecycle
- Understanding of public records retention schedules
- Ability to evaluate records for organization and accessibility
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Education or experience in IT systems related to records management
- Familiarity with public records retention schedules
