      **This is an 11-month Fixed term role, part of our Stepping Stone program, which is designed specifically to serve as an integration opportunity for individuals with refugee status, who have the right to work in Ireland.**

      About the team and the role:


      At eBay, Customer Experience is a career, not just a job. This role is the first step into multiple options of career paths. As a Customer Experience Teammate, you will deliver a high level of customer service to our customers who contact with a range of queries regarding their eBay account. You will own high volume customer contacts to the point of resolution and help our customers by delivering extraordinary impact.

      Your journey with eBay will begin with a comprehensive training program on our products, technology and performance targets. After your initial training, you will be required to reach proficiency in your targets. Going forward you will participate in the ongoing training and upskilling, to set you up for a long-term career with eBay.

      The start date for this position is July 21st 2025.

      * Important Information *

      • This is an inbound phone based role that will include evening and weekend work.

      • This is a full time role.

      • For this role you need to be located in the Republic of Ireland.

      • You will need to have a fibre connection for the internet in order to work remotely.


      We provide virtual training and require full attendance for the training period.


      Training dates:
      July 21st 2025 - August 29th 2025

      Please note that no holidays / time off can be taken during this time to provide optimum training & upskilling.

      What You Will Accomplish:

      • Be a customer advocate making customers feel great about eBay

      • Communicate with eBay’s Buyers and Sellers through phone, chat and email

      • Listen to and understand customer issues and priorities while taking ownership to the point of resolution

      • Promote and encourage best practices on eBay while providing up-selling, cross-selling and account retention services as needed

      • Excel at learning through our training programs to keep growing your eBay knowledge

      • Master your knowledge of eBay technology and achieve your individual targets

      • Be responsible for your development goals and keep evolving to be your best self at work

      What You Will Bring:

      • Proficient in written and verbal English

      • Available for shift work including early mornings, late evenings, and weekend work

      • Experienced in Customer Service and are passionate about customers

      • Comfortable in communicating information over phone and email

      • Resilient and not afraid of challenging conversations, while being adaptable to a fast-paced and ever evolving workplace

      • Able to operate Windows and troubleshoot a PC, tablet, or mobile phone
