  Overview The Bayview Mortgage Servicing Rights (“MSR”) Fund along with its wholly owned subsidiary Lakeview Loan Servicing (“Lakeview”) is the largest of Bayview’s funds. Lakeview is a top three owner of Ginnie Mae MSRs. The data analyst is responsible for data and analytics within the (Early Buyout Option) EBO team. The individual will be responsible for managing data from multiple clients and platforms, including initiatives for data integrity and normalization. Responsibilities consist of: reconciliation of data, loan-level research, exception handling and solution development, data governance, and business process support. Will require the ability to independently build database tables and create SQL queries. The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, location and key skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Independent analytical research, data extraction, and interpretation using qualitative and quantitative methods Manage daily database reconnaissance and aggregation processes Manage EBO data integrity review, data quality, and data normalization into centralized data repository Collaborate with technology teams to identify and implement automation tools to enhance EBO data processes and efficiency Develop mechanisms for accurate and efficient reporting to management. Reconcile loan-level data and produce accurate reporting to business stakeholders Recommend and facilitate analytical and operational process improvements Manage projects related to the multiple data initiatives within the department. Develop SQL queries to assist in the manipulation and retrieval of data from multiple sources Document data sources, data dictionaries, and data transformation processes to facilitate data understanding and lineage SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Experience with additional programming languages preferred (Visual Studio, Python) Highly organized in nature Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment Strong oral and written communication skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s, in any concentration that has exposure and experience in the relevant technical skills, or equivalent work experience desired. Previous experience in an analytical or reporting environment is a plus.
