What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain positive relationships and high expectations
- Design instruction to ensure student engagement and participation in learning objectives
- Develop and guide learning in partnership with students in alignment with standards
- Evaluate student and class performance to adjust instruction for improvement
- Implement current best practice instruction and resources to enhance student learning
- Maintain documentation and reports to comply with regulations
- Manage classroom structure and procedures to create a positive learning environment
- Model positive behaviors and promote appropriate social and interpersonal behavior
- Oversee assistant teachers, student teachers, instructional assistants, volunteers, and/or student workers
- Participate in meetings and professional growth opportunities
- Respond to emergency situations to ensure safety

What is Required (Qualifications):

- Bachelor's degree
- Current Louisiana teacher certification
- Proficiency in computer use, email communication, and job-specific technology
