- Provide economic analysis in litigation, regulatory, and commercial proceedings, such as antitrust litigation and competition merger reviews.
- Conduct research into firm, industry, and marketplace behaviors.
- Utilize available data sources for quantitative research to inform the design of advanced economic analyses.
- Identify, develop, and implement data-driven, cutting-edge, and litigation-proof analytical solutions to complex economics problems.
- Develop and implement sophisticated quantitative analyses of large datasets, including regression analyses and simulation modelling.
- Present research and findings to senior team members and experts, and participate in technical discussions.
- Assist in the preparation, drafting, and auditing of expert reports and other highly specialized client deliverables.
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong quantitative and programming skills, with proficiency in programming languages and statistical software (such as Stata, R, Python, and SAS), Excel, and/or mapping software (such as ArcGIS).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
- Outstanding written communications skills in English, as our Economics team prepares client-ready documents.
- Excellent verbal communication capabilities in English. Interns concisely present information to their colleagues.
- Extraordinary customer service and interpersonal skills. Interns must act with confidence, maturity and poise given their regular interactions with senior team members.
- Passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- High-energy, collaborative style, with a flexible approach to team dynamics.
- Must be open to a hybrid working model.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer for significant portions of the workday.

- Demonstrated track record of success in educational and professional experiences
- Currently attending an accredited university to pursue a degree in Economics or a quantitative field of study such as mathematics, data science, statistics or computer science. Minimum GPA of 3.3 is required.
- Expected graduation date between December 2024 and August 2025.
- Internship(s) or academic experience(s) in an analytically challenging environment.

What you’ll do
The Economics Consulting practice provides litigation support and expert testimony to clients facing litigation and regulatory scrutiny in the areas of competition and antitrust, securities and finance, intellectual property, and other complex commercial situations. Our economists and academic affiliates combine sharp economic insights, grounded in data-driven analytics, with diverse academic, industry, and subject matter expertise. What you’ll need
The hourly range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $40/hour - $50/hour.
