      If so, our Emergency Department at Yeovil District Hospital would like to invite you to apply for the role of ED Receptionist.

      We are ideally looking for someone full time but can consider part time at a minimum of 23 hours. The post will include unsociable hours and weekend working which will come with an enhanced rate of pay which will significantly increase your earnings.

      Main duties of the job

      As Receptionist in the Emergency Department, you'll be the 1st point of contact for patients and visitors, and will take charge ofcollecting patient information, processing paperwork, and monitoring the waiting list, whilst providing a friendly and welcoming service to all.

      You'll provide administrative support to facilitate the patient's progress through the hospital system and help maintain the most up to date patient records.

      As well as general reception duties, the role has many different parts to it and will include supporting clinical members of staff and working in other areas linked with ED. No two days are the same!
