What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and execute all employer client and member Dental + Vision Administration and EDI processes
- Establish and maintain client EDI connections and file transfers
- Conduct research using SQL, XML, EDI, and file editing tools
- Act as the primary liaison between Claims/Encounter, Enrollment/Eligibility, and Customer/client production personnel
- Assist in the development and documentation of data mapping for HIPAA/proprietary transactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in transactional roles, client service, or working with data and processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in health/dental insurance and understanding of EDI transactions
- 5-7 years of experience with healthcare EDI technologies and processes
