      What Makes This Role Different?
      The EDI Specialist will partner with and support various functional teams across the Logistics and IT organizations to manage the flow of EDI with transportation carriers and third-party logistics providers. This key role in the organization is critical to onboarding new partners to the EDI program and ensuring accurate and timely data flow. The EDI Specialist will identify compliance opportunities, analyze error trends, and collaborate to resolve EDI issues impacting supply chain visibility.

      What Can You Expect?
      • Identify, research, and resolve issues impacting EDI program compliance, including missing EDI, system and job outages, functional errors, and operational issues.
      • Review EDI error dashboards, publish error reporting, and drive timely error resolution, as well as root cause problem solving.
      • Partner with Logistics and IT teams to on-board new partners to the EDI program. Send and receive test data, review data for compliance to requirements.
      • Respond to EDI questions and requests and support education of EDI requirements. Effectively communicate impact and importance of EDI transactions and specific data elements to ensure successful and timely transmissions.
      • Support documentation of processes, training and mapping requirements related to EDI.
      Skills Required to make you Successful:
      • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
      • 2+ years of relevant experience working with EDI
      • Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation a plus
      • Experience with JDA/Blue Yonder a plus
      • Analytical approach to problem solving, leveraging strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical and business teams
      • Excellent critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
      • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment with proven ability to multi-task
      HM Notes:
      • Contractor can participate in summer fridays and make up hours during the week
      • EDI Specialist with logistics and transportation piece is necessary to have
      • Not looking for an EDI Developer
      • 100% remote position and Open to local candidates too
      • EDI experience worked within the 200 series transactions
      • JDA blue yonder is a plus
      • Excel experience is required
      • Power BI is a plus
      • Strong verbal and written skills needed
