What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to and resolve support cases related to clearinghouse or payer EDI issues
- Meet SLAs for response and resolution of support cases
- Research EDI errors, claim rejections, and denials
- Validate client implementation details against clearinghouse enrollment records
- Collaborate with partner clearinghouses on support issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience in practice management software or medical billing support
- In-depth knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI formats, medical billing workflows, and help desk/technical support environment
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial paper, and electronic claims processing
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of ICD, CPT, HCPC coding and ability to read EOBs
- Experience in eligibility verification, ERA, and familiarity with HIPAA rules
- Familiarity with Health Center, ASC, and other UB billing
