      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist acquisition editors in the signing, development, and publishing of scholarly books
      - Maintain data integrity for all books on the lists and facilitate effective communication within the organization
      - Manage detail-oriented projects with overlapping deadlines
      - Support day-to-day management of editorial lists and contribute to the efficient flow of materials and information
      - Attend conferences or cover publicity events as required

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Strong communication skills for in-person and online conversations
      - Demonstrable time-management and organizational skills
      - Capacity for problem-solving and independent work
      - Computer proficiency, including databases, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
      - Current legal authorization to work immediately in the U.S.

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Interest in sociology, anthropology, or religious studies
      - Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
      - Experience in scholarly publishing or related fields
      - Enthusiasm for collaboration and commitment to the employer's professional code of conduct
      - Writing sample evaluation may be required during the interview process
