- Assists with the coordination and execution of the Center’s arts education programs including but not limited to the following:
- Backstage Spotlight technical arts training program
- ArtsBridge Powered by Toyota community arts program
- Open Stages student arts access program
- Disney Musicals in Schools elementary teacher professional development program
- Provides administrative assistance for all other education and community engagement programs.
- Tracks metrics for all programs
- Creates and collates materials for meetings, presentations, and events
- Additional tasks as assigned
- Exemplify the Core Values of the Center by working passionately to pursue our mission and vision statements
- Must be able to demonstrate at least a conversational fluency in Spanish
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines to ensure seamless day-to-day operation of education programs with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work with culturally diverse populations and various community stakeholders and audiences.
- Requires exceptional writing and research abilities.
- Requires reliable transportation.

Summary:
The Education and Community Engagement Coordinator supports the implementation and evaluation of AT&T Performing Arts Center’s education and community engagement programs and promotes the Center’s commitment to inclusion as its ambassador in the community. Please note: this position is highly administrative and requires considerable time in an office environment.
This position is a detail-oriented, highly organized team player with excellent interpersonal skills that works seamlessly and efficiently with AT&T Performing Arts Center staff and with end users of the facilities. Essential skills include the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining high professionalism. Must be a self-starter and work autonomously using independent judgment. A positive attitude towards the position and the Center’s Core Values is imperative.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Preferences:
Bachelor’s Degree in a performing arts or education-related field. At least 2 years of professional experience in arts education or community development. Events experience a plus. Nonprofit experience preferred.
Professional/Technical Competencies:
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.- frequent preparation and moving of materials with limited assistance. Attend performances, required meetings, and special events during evenings and weekends.
Special Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and adequately insured vehicle available for use on the job or other forms of consistent transportation for frequent off-campus responsibilities. Applicants must be available to work evening and weekend events.
