      Summary

      Responsible for supporting the efficient and effective delivery of education and training opportunities for Le Bonheur associates. Designs, implements, and evaluates facility based educational and training programs. Provides support to the Education Services department by serving as learning management system administrator, managing projects, maintaining and retrieving evidence based literature, and coordinating logistics for learning events. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

      REQUIRED:

      Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.

      Must have at least three (3) years’ work experience in general business operations.

      • Skilled in use of and retrieval from literature databases.
      • Skilled in facilitating meetings and overseeing projects.
      • Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
      • Strong customer service skills.
      • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

      Key Job Responsibilities

      • Designs, implements, and evaluates assigned training programs.
      • Provides the administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System.
      • Coordinates and directs the management of assigned projects.
      • Collaborates with facility nursing leaders and other related departments to achieve organizational and departmental goals.
      • Identifies, locates, retrieves, and delivers authoritative information resources to associates at MLH.

      Physical Requirements

      • The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
      • Must have good balance and coordination.
      • The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
      • The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
      • The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
      • Occasional travel to other Methodist Le Bonheur locations may be required.
