The Nursing Student Coordination Educator facilitates and is responsible for the nursing pipeline work through nursing services. This includes programs such as the Summer Nurse Externs, high school shadowing programs (Med Ed Academy), TCTC and AnMed scholar students, etc. The Nursing Student Coordination Educator coordinates shadowing and clinical placements for high school students and nursing students.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
• Licensed as a registered nurse in South Carolina with three (3) to four (4) years clinical experience
• Master’s degree in Nursing, or in a related field as approved by the CNO, required or must be obtained within 3 years from date of hire.
• Experience with professional standards and certification from a professional nursing organization preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal relationships skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
