      JOB SUMMARY

      • Responsibilities include but are not limited to presenting and/or coordinating educational programs; creating and evaluating clinical skills and competency of Radiology Technologists and departmental personnel; adhering to governing agencies’ guidelines and mandates; and acting as a resource, liaison, patient, and employee educator to the community, nursing units and ancillary departments at Hendrick Medical Center.

      JOB REQUIREMENTS

      • Minimum Education
        • Must have completed High School or GED
      • Minimum Work Experience
        • Two Years of Experience in Radiology
      • Required Licenses/Certifications
        • Valid Texas Driver’s License required only for individuals identified as HMC Designated Drivers per policy.
      • Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
        • Must have basic understanding of PACS and RIS software.
        • Must be able to verbal communicate with patients and render basic patient care
        • Commitment to become an expert in education promoting continuous quality improvement in the delivery of patient care and services.
        • Ability to present educational information in a professional manner.
        • Organize and complete educational records according to facility and governing agency requirements.
        • Demonstration of informal leadership as well as functioning as an effective team member within the department and throughout the facility.
