      Description

      Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an EEG Technician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln Medical Center is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties, including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers. Today, Lincoln stands as a leader in the transformation in healthcare in the Downtown Bronx community.

      Opportunity Details:

      • Operate electroencephalographs to measure and record the electrical activity of brain waves via electrodes secured to the patient's scalp.
      • Perform EEG tests when requested by a physician.
      • Administer electroencephalograms (EEGs), which may then detect brain disorders or damage.
      • Perform pre-test consultations Gather a patient’s medical history as part of testing process.

      Qualifications


      • High school graduate or equivalent.
      • Certification in CPR
      • EEG Certification preferred Graduate of an approved EEG Technician program.
      • Minimum three-five years of experience as an EEG Technician.
