Job Description

- Develop web form applications
- Electronic form and web forms composition using Quadient Inspire Designer and Dynamic Communications
- Modification of existing electronic forms and application code
- General knowledge of service oriented architecture, web services, SOAP/REST APIs etc.
- Data mapping from source systems
- Creation of data transformations and formatting rules
- Create, manage, and optimize document job processing workflows using Inspire Scaler
- Analyze and fix defects
- Assess development effort for new projects and change requests
- Manage a development project stream
- Provide subject matter expertise and advice to business partners
- Develop proof of concepts to demonstrate new solutions and product capabilities
- Develop processes, procedures, checklists and project plans
- Provide non-prod/production implementation and deployment guidelines
- Coordinate code deployments
- Provide production implementation and post production support
- Support production environment, security and maintenance patch implementation
- Create and manage support cases
- Manage and coordinate with other technology teams (e.g. IT, Engineering, Deployment Services, QA)
- Strive for continuous improvement of our application design, development and support processes
- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
- Work collaboratively with project managers, business analysts, consultants, developers, solution architects, vendors and other business and technical teams to successfully deliver on key initiatives
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related field
- A minimum of 3+ years relevant hands-on object oriented programming experience
- Web development experience (frontend or backend)
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (e.g. Waterfall, Agile etc.)
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a stream of work
- Capability to learn quickly on the job
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- Leadership skills
- Experience with Quadient (GMC) Inspire Designer, Automation, Interactive, Dynamic Communications, Scaler, Oracle DocuMaker, Opentext Exstream, or Planet Press is an asset
- Bilingual skills (French) is an asset
- Design background (web and/or print) would be an asset

The eForms and eSignature Centre of Excellence (EECOE) is a key group of functional and technical subject matter experts responsible for rationalization, standardization and digitization of the bank's electronic forms.
The EECOE guides various lines of business through electronic forms and electronic signature digitization projects. Digitization enables the bank to increase operational efficiency of sales and service processes while reducing cost and improving customer experience.
Our team is looking for an expert developer with an object oriented programming background, strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and manage a stream of work.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
