      Huntsman is seeking a EGU Operator supporting the Performance Products Division located in Conroe, TX. This position will report to the Shipping Manager.

      Job Scope

      To provide direct operational support for the new Advanced Technology Purification Unit, EGU. This role supports the manufacturing of high purity and electronics grade chemicals & requires a higher level attention to detail & cleanliness in the handling & manufacture of these chemicals.

      As EGU Operator you will:

      • Begin, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging process by using automatic liquid filler, stretch holder, conveyor, labeling and closure of packaged chemicals.
      • Begin, monitor, and troubleshoot chemical processing equipment for production of high purity chemicals.
      • Unload chemicals from tank trailers and Iso-containers
      • Pull chemical samples using high purity sample bottles and submitting to lab for analysis.
      • Cleans processing unit following wash protocol and validates cleanliness by submitting samples for lab analysis.
      • Replenishes consumable items in processing/packaging equipment (filters, stretch film, etc).
      • Completes required documentation (batch records, logbooks, etc.) by following good manufacturing practices and ALCOA (Accurate, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, Attributable) principles.
      • Performs housekeeping, safety inspections and reports results.

      Required Qualifications:

      You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

      The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • 7 or more years of prior petrochemical plant experience

      • Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.
      • Attentive to safety guidelines, ability to work according to standard operating procedures.
      • Maintains positive attitude, works well with peers and management level, accepts constructive feedback, helps to identify problems and improvements, and has desire to learn.
      • Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during the course of employment.
      • Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success.
