- Maintain contact with department heads and liaise with them on a daily basis
- Contact, screen, propose, and oversee vendors
- Compare multiple bids, supervise work, review invoices-and track budgets
- Ensure seasonal routines and procedures are carried out for the household interior and exterior needs; landscaping, window washing, power washing, etc.
- Visit the property regularly to assess landscaping, irrigation, and the general condition of the home to ensure they are aligned with the family’s standards
- Respond to requests in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with teams to ensure proper execution of family’s vision
- Liaise and source all pertinent vendors to ensure quality and pricing aligns with family expectations
- Provide ongoing effective and efficient communication on a regular basis
- Relationship management with key vendors and current household teams
- Highly organized and sophisticated individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks and strategically prioritize them
- Proactive, energetic, detail-oriented; able to anticipate needs and provide exceptional service in a timely manner
- Flexible team player with a “no task too big or too small” attitude
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets and projects effectively
- Strong problem solving skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and make decisions independently
- Must have at least 5-10-years experience working in a similar role
- The candidate must be bilingual in both Spanish and English
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance, construction practices, and vendor management
- Tech savvy
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- SOP's
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity
- Exceptional interpersonal, professional, and communication skills
- US passport, Green Card, or EAC

Overview
A private family is seeking a property manager to oversee their home in Costa Rica. The candidate would be based in Miami, and would typically travel to the property one week out of every month. The principals are only in residence for a few weeks of the year, so, during this time you would be required to stay there for a longer period, or travel there more frequently. This is a fully staffed household all year round and the department heads will report to the candidate on a daily basis. You will be required to give directions and manage multiple personalities within the team.
The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours as needed but the candidate should have a 24/7 mentality to assist with situations as they come up. The position is to start as soon as possible.
