      Additional Information About the Role

      Remote opportunity! (Must live in MO or IL)

      BJC is currently seeking an EHR Data I Analyst to support day-to-day operations for Epic Reporting. The responsibilities of this role include assisting with support calls to the help desk for reports and doing enhancement requests for the reporting tools. The position also involves working on a quarterly release cycle for Epic to help build new features into the system.

      The ideal candidate will have experience with Epic and data analytics, as well as knowledge of Excel. Strong communication skills are also essential for this role.

      Preferred Qualifications

      Role Purpose

      Under significant direction, performs a variety of functions related to the collection and entry of critical data into Epic & other Clinical applications. Works with Epic data structures and toolsets including but not limited to Caboodle, Cogito, and Clarity. Collaborates with Epic application teams, end users to facilitate understanding of data by displaying concepts, ideas, and facts using graphical representations. Tests quality and validity of data flow, and ensures visualization of data is appropriate. Is aware of Epic Cogito Reporting Platform and tools and is capable of simple report development with oversight and direction from leadership. Epic or applicable certifications will be required within 6 months of hire.

      Responsibilities

    • Uses a visualization product, as guided, to design and create data visuals. Engages with the target user to prototype and refine specified visualizations.
    • Creates and delivers standard reports in accordance with stakeholder needs and conforming to agreed standards.
    • Assesses the integrity of data from multiple sources.
    • Uses specific data modelling and design techniques under guidance.
    • May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
