Job Description

- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for practice management and clinical product modules.
- Provides practical application training in the practice setting and individual follow up as appropriate. Conducts onsite or virtual training.
- Assesses practice utilization and adoption of practice management and EHR modules for installed APP offices.
- Creates post-implementation remediation plans for areas identified for improvement.
- Educates on HITECH Act and the Office of the National Coordinator's requirements for reporting.
- Analyzes practices' data for compliance with Advocate Aurora contracts and government reporting requirements. Provides remediation action plans and coaches practices on how to meet requirements.
- Educates practices on Clinical Integration and provides direction on data management to meet CI objectives. Educates physicians on clinical workflow best practices. Provides education to practices on updates and enhancements to electronic medical records (EHR) systems.
- Schedules and conducts in-office presentations of the EHR program.
- Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Bachelor's Degree) in Business, or Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field. Experience Required: Typically requires 3 years of experience in EHR or clinical software implementations.
- Broad based knowledge and competency in both hardware and software applications and systems in a clinical department and /or integrated delivery system environment. Demonstrated project management and computer management skills experience. Staff management experience. Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills. Proven systems implementations. Strong decision-making abilities. Excellent team player and leader. Customer Service orientation Good facilitator and presentation skills. Knowledge of project management software.

Primarily remote work from home Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. May be required to go onsite to ambulatory physician practices across the IL footprint of Advocate Health Care as needed.
Provides comprehensive expertise in consulting with and evaluating practices to ensure maximum utilization of the practice management and electronic health record modules. Plans and provides educational programs and consultative services to medical staff and clerical associate staff for all aspects of electronic health records (EHR) systems (either operational or clinical portions) in APP physician member offices, to support the business and clinical care needs of the organization. Ensures that APP practices are competent in the use of APP electronic health records (EHR) systems, data entry, and order entry. Serves as a liaison for physician related issues around system utilization, process improvement and workflow re-design. Works with management and other team members in improving processes and contributing ideas to put forth the best recommendations to APP leadership.
